Rob: Innovation has long been our country's saving grace.
Maybe it's our pioneer heritage.
Maybe it's our entrepreneurial spirit.
But whatever it is, innovation is America.
Without it, our country wouldn't even be a country, or at least not
what it is today.
Such a can-do attitude is truly the American story,
and one that's still being written.
Seldom does an innovation become an overnight success, and it's for this
reason that true innovation requires not just creativity, but
persistence and a little luck.
For this reason, we need to do all we can to foster a culture where innovation
thrives; where it's rewarded; and when it doesn't work, a culture
that lets you dust yourself off, get up, and try again.
