Brian: Thanks to Oklahoma's skilled workforce, North America's leading school bus manufacturer is celebrating a major milestone. Again, here's our Jessica Betts. Jessica: It's a ride at least four million children in the U S take every day. Hopping aboard a big yellow school bus is a popular way of getting to and from school. A safe and reliable ride made possible by the I C Corporation, the nation's leading bus manufacturer. Well, Tulsa is one of the I C Corp's two locations and, let's just put it this way, they've been pretty busy. Jessica: From the hard work of more than 1100 employees at the Tulsa Bus Plant, the I C Corporation is celebrating milestone success. The keys to our 50,000th bus; thank you so much. Jessica: Tulsa Bus Plant's 50,000th school bus, straight off the line, and headed to Ardmore city schools. Tulsa mayor, Kathy Taylor, says she knows the secret to their success. Kathy Taylor: We have the very best workforce in the nation. And what an important product that you provide to those kids every day, millions of kids around this country, who are on their way to the most important thing in this country, their education. Jessica: Completing 54 buses a day, and with more than 50,000 in circulation; state treasurer, Scott Meacham, says, the bus plant is good for Oklahoma. Scott Meacham: This plant gets it. You all get it. You understand what it takes to be competitive in this global economy today, and you all share that mission. Jessica: Honoring outstanding success, while remembering those who made it all possible.
